Got a chance to play with a thermal imager at work yesterday. Needed something with a large contrast in temperature range. What better than a set of headers on a recently started bike? OAT (outside air temp) was 52 deg F when I started the bike. After a few minutes I watched the radiator turn red as the thermostat opened. The side picture was taken after about 4 minutes of idling.

I hope to do this again after riding so that the brake rotors show up as well. Problem is that there will probally be a big red a$$ print on the seat.

Wish I could. The camera is a little dated. 640X480 is the only resolution it has.
