I was sat here thinking "What the bloody hell is a squid?" But someone has explained it.

So what do they call squids in the UK?

Idiots usually but I don't know of any particular name for them, I have my own personal category for them but I won't say it in case people get upset.

In the UK, when I talk about them to non-bikers I call them chavs or scooter riding little t0ssers! To bikers I'll call them squids though! There are usually a few that deserve respect though. There's one kid I teach who rides in on his scooter even when it's p!ssing down and another who has already bought a VFR 400 and is doing it up ready for when he does his full test.

oh, and they usually wave to me, but it isn't a normal wave, it is always something like a peace sign, or the shocker or something "Cooler" than a normal wave...

So when I pass by, in full gear at the speed of traffic in proper blocking position and give you the peace sign that will still make me a squid?
I just like to be an individual and whats wrong with showin some love?!
