i have a yellow fz6 s2 2009 , and i recently have to paint my tank because of a light fall.

i m thinking of painting to white , instead of yellow.

but i want that white they put in new cars now , especially jeeps.

i dont know if its pearl white

i m thinking to keep the black colour and just replace the yellow,

how about the decals FZ6 in the back ?can i find them?

any opinions ?

i cant imagine how will be

thanks

I love the blue on my bike, but if I ever felt the desire to change color, white would be my choice.

The jeep white you're thinking of is Chrysler code PW7, and it is not pearl. It's a solid white.

Personally, I'd go with a pearl.. though it will cost you more as it is a tri-coat. Ford's white pearls are more yellowish, but have a heavy pearl coat that looks sharp. Toyota (Lexus) has some more extravagant white pearls... heavy lots of blue pearl on the midcoat.

Hope this helps,

Dave

Hahah actually, just washed my bike a couple hours ago and realized that the Jeep Patriot we repaired is behind my bike. And, happens to be the color you're asking about. Here's the pic, as well as another one of my bike because it's awesome.

White's good but if you go through with it, do the tail too. I was completely disenchanted with the new FZ1 when i saw that the tail was left black. it just makes the bike look cheaper.

on a side note make sure you get a thick clear coat on the white

Thanks a lot for thelo reply guys.
Actually, I saw the white I was looking for at a cayenne and a swift. Its a more goldy white.
I guess its pearl.
Unfortunately, it will sure cost more because I ll have to paint more parts, too.
So, maybe I ll keep the colour.
Also, I couldnt decide if I was goimg to make it alla white, or paint just the yellow parts.
Also, I cannot find the stock decals. .
The only thing im going to do is to make the front mudguard black. What do you think-?

ThickClear coat? What do you mean? Do you know how I can find the side and.tank logos/decals?
Would itan be better the tank all white? Or.to keep the black part?
