I think you've got a winner in the 'magic yellow' contest!! [I don't remember the real name for the contest, but that's what we used to call it].
In 2007, Yamaha announced that they were painting the frames/other components on a select group of bikes YELLOW under the stock color (12 if I remember correctly - to be done at a rate of 3-4 bikes per year shipped to North America). If I remember correctly, the winners get $5000 credit toward the purchase of a new bike AND you get your bike featured in the Yamaha annual calendar! Sweet! I don't think more than 2-3 of these bikes have even been 'discovered'!
I'm not 100% certain that the contest is still running though. I STRONGLY suggest you phone your dealer TODAY and see if it's still on. If they deny it, phone the head-office immediately because you know how dealers are (most kids there probably haven't been working since the contest started).
