I have to say.... no, I don't like that at all. It just looks totally wrong, I mean what were they thinking with the placement of the tuning forks to start with?

That's beautiful. I'd absolutely buy that if I had the choice. Did you happen to notice if it was more expensive than same year bike with regular paint?

Apart from the badge on the tank, that looks absolutely awesome! Shame we don't get the FZ6 in Oz anymore. They'll probably put that scheme on the FZ8 here.

I think they are one-offs for that dealer, and were about £700+ dearer than standard. The FZ6 is a 2010 bike I think, no more new FZ6s here either. The R1 was the same price as normal £13000 :D  :(

Those bikes look pretty good. These are usually kits that Yamaha makes available to anyone who wants to buy one, about $1,200 - $1,500. They make a Retro kit for the FZ1 in the similar vein ..... its in the Yamaha catalog.

The FZ1 kit ..... new tank, tank shroud, fairing, fender, rear cowl and rear seat cover.

The FZ1 with the 50-kit looks very cool indeed...

At first I liked that FZ6, but that red "eye-shadow" doesn't do it much good!
Did anyone notice the black engine and silver frame mix? :D

Personally I LOVE IT!! I'd snap that anniversary edition up instantly if I had the chance. It's got a really cool retro speedblock vibe and would be so unique. Oh, I'm obviously partial to red also which doesn't hurt.

i like the colour scheme though yeah the eye shadow looks a bit garish and the tuning fork is in the wrong place, but it s a great colourway which i would definitaly like to have... the silver frame black engine combo is because its one of the lastest models ie 09.

I think its pretty sharp...

I'd lke to see the old style yellow and black paint scheme from the earlier days, same design basically, just old school....

Wish they had the upgrade painted kit for a 600...

I hate to ask but....what happened to it?

I traded it into a dealership and it sold to a kid the next day. One day after that it came back totaled. :(

It was a bit of a handful to ride even for an experienced rider and it just got away from him on his first ride.

Of well very cool bike RIP.
