I'm so stoaked, can't wait. It's in awesome condition with 5k miles with tank and tail bags included.

Please check out the forum Essential Reading. You have alot of studying to do. LOL Welcome to our forum and glad your here. Seriously though, lots of work to be done teaching your brain and body to work with the motorcycle instead of against it. Pretty much everything your body and brain wants to do is wrong and works against motorcycle design.

the more you learn the MORE FUN riding becomes. take it from me a fellow noob just started a month ago.

spend time reading, researching, asking questions, testing things (in safe places), and never think for one second you are a good rider (until youve been riding for like 250 years or something). take it nice and easy, trust me when I say the FZ6 will make you want to go fast. not right away cuz ur new. after about 1200km you will need to keep your right hand in serious check. it feels so stable but trust me when i say (humbled myself after first spill) emergency reactions are not there yet until uve been riding for years.

but ya, its a brilliant bike bro, ur gonna have the best time ever

Welcome to the addiction! :thumbup: My best advice (as a 1 year novice): read; practice; repeat. And ATGATT (so you don't have to figure it out the way I did, it's "all the gear all the time"). You'll find we are a pretty cautious bunch -- with a bit of a wild streak. :rockon:

Congrats on the great looking bike. Listen to what everyone says and read, read, read, and wear gear (all of it) It will be scary at first but you will learn to use the force and be one with your beast. Good luck!

Welcome to the site!! Where in Cali are you located? Congrats on the new bike, you will find that the FZ is very fun to ride, I've had mine for about 3 months now and I am loving it!! Ride safe! :rockon:

I'm in northern CA. North of San Francisco if you're familiar.

So as a complete Noob, I'd like to share my day 2 impressions.
I have a lot to learn. And a lot to do yet. Still getting used to how my FZ shifts. It's not as smooth as the honda CBR600 that I rode last weekend. But all of that is just my inexperience.

I need to change my fluids. Prob a front tire. (rear has 100 miles )
I just learned how to adjust the rear shocks...LOL it's set at 1 and I'm 200 lbs.

New helmet arrives today, but I still have to find some affordable gear...Jacket and gloves at least.

Now I'm off to read more.
