Why? Why would anyone do that to their feet? Were those her toes that you see on the inside of her foot?

I heard that there was some chines tradition that "Small feet assumes Beautiful Women".
So, they intentionally wore the small shoes when they(women) were child and keep the shoes until they are grown-up.
I've never thought that tradition is still going on... whew...
Or, this one >> might be some different purpose, hope so.

Does anyone smell blue?
I am assuming I was it on the Discovery Channel or History Channel, but years ago i remember watching a show about this. The women would have there feet broken a young age to help mold their feet like that. It was considered "proper" in what I can assume is this lady's day in age. But they never showed the end result...Holy *%#t!
