Like watching Pakistan play... They don't know the meaning if defensive play, always on the front foot, no matter how well or bad they are going.

Seriously though, I don't watch cricket any more (ever since the underarm bowl:spank::spank::ban but the cricket was on last night in Wolfman's shed while we were working on his other project (a 1942 WLA Jet Bike and waiting for the Qualifying to come on, and I must say the Pakistani's looked alright. Was still a reasonably close finish even so (those are usually the best games).:thumbup:

I thought that the attitude in general and the reaction of some of the Aussies to decisions was very unprofessional, like they think are royal game and entitled to win. About time they got their come-uppance for once.

In addition Tom Moody's commentary was shocking, his one sided comment s and criticism of the Pakistani players and especially Afridi was uncalled for. So what if he stands with his hands in the air when he takes a wicket? I didn't hear any criticism of Brett Lee and his overblown antics.

Not quiet sure you picked up on the fact that I am not British, but Pakistani.... In fact, I joked with my friends here that I am like a 3 for 1 deal for the police, being probably the only, Pakistani-Biker-Photographer in the land !

So we have won the cup, once, in Australia incidently... 1992..... :Flash:

With the state of our team as it has been, no one gave us a chance in this game, and rightly so. That makes this win all the more enjoyable....

BTW what's wrong with Ian Chappell? He was very bitter about Afridi's captancy, called the team huddle of Pakistan a waste of time, and had very nasty things to say about Afridi's wicket taking celebration..... what's wrong with this...??

Im a Ponting fan too, and im over him too. He deserves to have the captaincy taken off him, but unfortunately the alternative in Michael Clarke is way worse IMO.

And what's with not walking even when he has edged it thick enough to be heard by the crowd? His excuse 'I always wait for the umpire to give me out....'. Sorry mate, with the DRS now in use that just makes u look like a fickle pr!ck!! Learn from Tendulkar, he walked away yesterday caz he knew he had edged it, didn't wait for the umpire or for the Windies to call for a review.... Top marks!
