Was talking about this last night....will Pakistan get to the Final with the shortest odds in History, and then back the other team at awesome odd's, then throw in the towel!!!

We were only "joking", but hey, history tells us that we might not be too far off a "reality"!

Others?? many Pakistanis think the same...Although such things are not exclusive to Pakistan (remember Cronje??) or to cricket....

I decided long ago that although fixing the result of a match may be a step too far, things like the recent spot fixing (no-balls at specific times) and insider information trading happen... I am going to try and enjoy the sport regardless..

As for the reaction in Pakistan to the spot fixing.... well the team bus got pelted with eggs.... and to this day most people curse the cheats for tarnishing Pakistan's crickets' image.... But credit to the current team and the guys at the helm (Afridi and Waqar).. We have 3 of out best players (rightly) sitting this out...and they have got to the semi-finals...

More importantly.... India just beat Aus so now.... ITS ON!!!

India v Pakistan - World Cup semi-final..... Hopefully the fireworks will be on-field only.....
