fir the 2005 FZ6 without any modifications? I know the Universal will, but it seems so big and takes away about a half inch of the throttle grip.

Not sure 'bouta Vist Cruise, but I dun made mah own "redneck" throttle lock. All ya need is a coat hang wire 'n .308 casing. :D

The only thing you need to do is move the brake fluid reservoir inward a little bit so you can attach the stationary clamp of the cruise control to the handlebar. I was also concerned about how much room the switch takes up on the throttle, but have gotten used to it. There is still plenty of throttle to grab. Even if you get it for an extended ride it is easy enough to take off the bike after the trip if you don't like how it feels on the throttle.
