Good decision. The wife who understands is the wife who does not complain. Unless of course you become truly broke. Then we complain a lot :) BECAUSE we understand.....
 
Its a Oneal Element lid with the Blinc bluetooth system and I have my phone hooked up to it so I can play music through it. I do wish it could go a little louder as it is a little hard to hear at highway speeds, you can use a two way radio through it as well as any bluetooth enabled device; I have only used the phone so far. I paid $269 through Motorsport.com and it shipped in about 5 days. I plan on getting my wife one when we get her bike. I have a 12 volt power point on my bike so i can plug my car charger into my phone to keep it charged because listening to music drains the battery quickly. Hope this is informative.
 
I just did it with out telling her......had to take a day off work and wait for the UPS guy to show up. After the pipes got here I installed them right away and got rid of the evidence. I hate hiding things from her but sometime there is no other way. Some wife's just don't understand.

Are you aware, that for every 4 items of clothing, shoes, handbags etc that we buy, we only show you 2?.....

Don't feel bad about buying things for your bike without telling her. You should be more worried about what she has bought without telling you :eek:

I allways order my bike/guitar/IT stuff for delivery at work to avoid being detected. Luckily my GF does not care about my bike at all, so I could pretty much do anything, including buying a different bike, without her knowing. I would have to keep to the same kind of bike (sports tourer) and color (silver), but other than that she would have no idea what happened.

What I really would like to do is to get rid of the 2004 Speedy Silver FZ6 and get a 2008+ Bad Black or Woossy White FZ6, but that's something she would probably notice (unless done during winter, while the bike is in storage anyway and out of sight for 5 months... hmmm...).
