Which eBay HID kit to get?

Ofcourse there are many cheap ones there but does anyone recommend a decently priced (within $100 for both H4 and H7) brand/seller?

You shouldn't have HID on the highbeam.

I agree, it's not really necessary.

Installing is pretty straightforward, I can post a pic of my install. The most important part is tucking the wiring away from the forks.

Zipties are your friends.;)

No, the high beam only comes on with the switch or if you've already done the dual-headlight mod.

I think if you go with a HID system on the low-beam and use the standard bulb on the high-beam you'll get all the visibility you really need without potentially blinding oncoming traffic or the drivers in front of you.

While our reflector bowls aren't HID-specific, they don't really give off glare. The light is well-controlled and if you keep the K color temp of HID down to under 4500K, you're getting very good light output. Anything higher and you are reducing your own visibility for the sake of "cool factor" :rolleyes:
