Europe SUCKS (at least for Americans)! The USD is near worthless vis a vis the Euro. STAY OUT unless you want to really beat up your budget. The USD is worth about---get this---50% against most European currencies over what it used to be in the late 80's. This is ridiculous! The last time I was over there was 2003 and I should have pressed charges for highway robbery. You can't buy squat for USD's over there. How expensive is it when you go over there? Answer: Try thinking about movie theater prices here. You know, you order something that should be maybe $3.00 and they charge you $10.00. That's how it is over in Europe after you exchange your USD for Euros. Warning: Stay out!

Some guys i work with took a trip to amsterdam last summer and they said it is real clean over there. They even say people going down the street every day pressure washing the roads and sidewalks.........true?

I've been to a lot of different cities, I think Toronto is a very clean city. As far as Holland, I thought Rotterdam was cleaner than Amsterdam, but that just my opinion. However, Amsterdam is a BLAST! Great city. Say, I love their four way public urinals. I don't think that we're that liberal here in the states yet. Don't they pressure wash the sidewalk around where you're from. Here along the strip and downtown, they sweep the streets and pressure wash the sidewalks on a daily basis.

Try going up against the British Pound, even worse! I will say that I love the Euro currency, I love the size, color and demoniation they come in. Especially the purple one!

If you go over there with USD's, bring about TWICE what you think should be right. USD used to be almighty. Not any more. Now, thanks to incompetent US government red ink spending/trading, etc., Europeans have way passed the USA in what probably the single biggest indicator of a country's strength: its currency. The remember when the Euro first came out in the 90's. It started out as worth about USD 85 cents. Now, it takes well over USD $1.50 to buy a Euro. I remember when people used to worship the USD. My, my, my.

yeah it's true, they have these teams in most of the cities, but it is necessary, especially in Amsterdam.

I will never forget once seeing a little electric vehicle with a suction tube for Dog turds in Paris :)
