Is that red stripe in FZ6-N S2 whees tape or is it a paint?

iirc its painted..i tried to put tape on this weekend ..its harder than brain surgery

Yeah, mine were a peice of cake to put on. And looked great too!

i did mine and it was easy had an adapt to make it alot easy to put on

ive tried both ..the tape with the 3M applicator and the pre-curved..is there a special tecnique..like soapy water?

I have an 07...I bought the matching fast blue paint and im gonna tape and paint it on...the taped ones don't appeal to me...to each their own I guess..I will post pics when I get it done.

I've got the tape with the 3M applicator on right now, it was pretty easy, I first cleaned the rim edges with soap, no water, just soap, then just press the applicator firmly against the rim, turn the wheel 10 cm, go over the bit you apply with your finger to make sure its stuck (I tried 30 cm and the entire tape came off ) and repeat the process, it was easy and its been on for about 200 km's, still looks good.
