Re: whats your favorite Rock song?
What do you think we are using all the fjords for? We dress the talented people in bunads and hide them far away in small villages at the very end of the deepest fjords where they play the [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiH4BFTELME"]fiddle[/ame] for tourists.
Personally, I don't like the "Nye Gitarkameratene" and their version of Hallelujah that you linked to. Their music is way to polished and slick for my taste. The original Hallelujah by Leonard Coen has a lot more nerve and feeling to it than the cover version from Norway.
The guy with the hobbit look (and the teeth) has a very good voice, though. He won the first (and only?) World Idol with U2's [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKg7SB-tcdA"]With or Without You[/ame] after initially winning the first Norwegian Idol contest. He beat both Will Young (UK) and Kelly Clarkson (USA) among others in the international final.
How do you Norwegians hide this much talent in one tiny little country??? 4 of the most amazing voices ive ever heard... I know it aint rock but WOW !!!!!! this is what music is all about
