What would cause a ticking sound afer being dropped?

A friend recently dropped my bike from standstill. The bike now makes a ticking sound at idle and when decelerating with the clutch fully engaged.

What should I check?

Which side did it fall on?

Look for anything that got scratched. It'll give you an indication of what was hit and you can hopefully narrow it down from there.

also go through and check all your cable tensions, if anything got mis adjusted, cables pulled on the fall or pickup it may need some readjustment.

How long have you ran it after the fall? it could also be fluids where they shouldn't be that could work their way back to where they belong.
