What has been the Favorite place you have traveled

Vegas... I will be in Amsterdam in just a few months (end of April) -- I am spending 2 weeks there on a bicycle trip... I am planning a day or two at the start and end in Amsterdam.

What should I make sure to see while I am there.

Thanks

There are no shortages of bicycles in Holland. You should fit right in. Make sure you check out the red light district and go window shopping at night, which is not to far from the main train station. That's where all the action is, the city comes alive at night. Lot of history over there too, just amazing that most of the buildings are still there from the war. Where, Rotterdam, just 45 minutes away, everything is all modern. As most of us know, that city, being a port city, got bombed to smithereens. Hope you like drinking Heinekens. Don't get lost in the airport, Schipol is huge!

i wouldnt call it a vacation but I lived in south korea for a year while serving in the army and i think it is just amazing to see another countries culture and how they live. also big land mine fields and guns built into the mountains is something im not used to seeing!

Just about everywhere I have ridden a motorcycle has been fun. I enjoyed riding in the Moab, Utah area ( a bit hot, but still fun). The ride my wife and I made out east of Las Vegas was a blast also. Especially in the "Valley of Fire State Park". It was like what I would imagine roads on Mars would be like. Also the trip from Moab north to Ouray, then south to Silverton, and then south to Durango. That was a very memorable motorcycle trip. The hill country in south Texas is always a great ride! Dodging javelinas and deer in southern Texas can make a ride interesting.:Sport:

On a motorcycle, there's no place like home (Colorado). You have to ride thru Estes Park - Rocky Mtn. Nat. Forest, it is unforgetable.....South Dakota was pretty, interesting roads in Custer State Park. And then there's Hawaii :). We rented scooters there!

I spent a month in Croatia a couple of years ago on my honeymoon - traveled up and down the coast. It really is the hidden gem of Eastern Europe.

Je volim Hrvatska puno!

Monaco for the grand prix 1998. 14 of us in 2 MPV's drove from england for a 4 day trip. Unforgettable. The noise the F1 cars make as they come out of the tunnel is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Flash::Flash::Flash:
