I just looked at Craig's List in your area and found eight FZ6's. I'd hold out and find one closer to home that you can actually look at and possibly ride. If you widen your search (perhaps add metro Tampa), I'll bet you'll find many more. Look at similar bikes as well. Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and several others have offerings like the FZ6. The more effort you put into your search, the more satisfied you'll be with your final selection.

Appreciate the advice guys, but ive done my research on what kind of bike i want, and hands down the FZ6 wins. its just a nicer bike overall!

(there may be 8 FZ6's in my area, but none are above the 07+ requirement that i have set that have yet to be sold)

i hate how your all right that something will pop up soon, as it turns out a guy who i emailed well over a week ago just got back to me.

we went back and forth but came down to 3400$ on a 07 FZ6, 11,150 miles "meticulously maintained" and from what i can tell that isn't far from the truth it looks spotless. and he has all maintenance records as well. plus hes throwing in a tank bag and bike cover.

might buy his shoei rf 1100 helmet from him, he wants 200 but im not sure if that's a good price.
