What do these vac lines do?

hey guys, had the tank off today fixing some electrical issues and noticed these two, are they supposed to go somewhere?

Nope that is how they are... For syncing the throttle bodies, I believe...

Yep TB sync hoses. The boys at Yamaha got this right, makes the TB sync a piece of cake!

Those hoses are an ingenius idea by the people at Yamaha. It allows easy access for syncing the throttle bodies like everyone else here has already said. On other motorcycles, such as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, they do NOT come with these and it takes a bit more work to sync the throttle bodies. Good job Yamaha.
