We sort of have a winter.. San Diego Weather - AccuWeather Forecast for CA 92121
We're getting our rain season now.
Might ride to Laguna Beach tomorrow to see my brother. Supposed to be around 60.

We might see snow in Ranchita, Ca tonight because they'll be below 32 deg.F and they're at 4000 feet.

Kenny, I don't think anything will stop you from riding! LMAO!

Riding 80 miles tomorrow morning down to Rhode Island. Forecast says 35 degrees/sunny for my departure and 38 degrees/sunny for expected arrival.

Super stoked for a beautiful winter riding day tomorrow :D I've got my heated gloves, heated grips, and balaclava by my side :-]

Been in the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's in my area for the last couple months, plus it may snow a little on Thursday. Gerbing's heated gear in effect!

Well, the tires will never really warm up when it's real cold out, so you've got less grip than in the Summer months. But there's plenty of it even with that said. Just be careful on sandy/salty roads and limit your lean angle to reasonable levels and you'll be fine.

we had a cold spell or about -6C, but it's gone warm and mild again now, temperatures up to 4 or 5C (40F?)

Yes, I have the XT for my food and beer runs since the bike came with a nice top case. And it will be my snow bike in the event that the roads are covered in snow.

As Erci said, got to watch out for black ice!

Props to those who keep the bike out even in the cold and snow! The only time I laid down a bike(first bike too) was in the snow ever since then I have had very little desire to ride 2 wheels when anything covers the road.

Heated gear would be nice for those sunny days though! Have fun

Ive always wondered what reasonable lean is when its cold.......I have also read that sport tires have less flex when cold than a all season tire....so I would assume this affects how much you can lean?
