VIN Decode for FZ6

Hello Guys
i need to decode a VIN from my FZ6, anybody has acces to any database where is it possible to do it?
Second thing is, please let me know what does exactly label 5VXH-010 mean under my seat. That bike is from US.

Hi Sebastian,
I don't have the breakdown of the FZ6 VIN, but it will follow the standard international conventions for any 17 digit alpha-numeric vin #.
The label under your seat with 5VXH-010 is your bike's Model Code.
The Model Code on my 2006 Canadian model FZ6 is: 5VXK-010
Most dealerships will only require the last 8 alpha-numerics of your VIN number, which will identify your bike in their Dealer Management System.
The vin breakdown should be in the General Specifications of the dealer-supplied Service Manuals.

Thanx for Your answer i thought that label under my seat is a code of colour of my bike. What colour is Yours ?

Unfortunatelly i "met" with a ground and i have a little problem with buying parts in original colour in Europe, because for EU and USA colours are quite different

So i have to go to some master who prepare me i hope almost identically colour.

23.08 i will go to Alps mountain and i hope my bike will be ready.

Hi Sebastian,
I'm guessing your bike's a 2006 model? If so, there were only 2 colours available in North America in 2006: blue and red. Your bike is identical to mine, except for the very nice full fairing, of course...mine doesn't have that.
I have seen the name of the red as either Shift Red or Deep Red Metallic, code DRMK.
A good bodyshop should be able to duplicate the paint if they take a chip of paint from the damaged area.
