Had a shop quote me a cheap price to put a set of these tires on, he claimed they were comparable to the bridgestones, which he believed to be overpriced... Anyone ever heard of these before?

I've never heard of Vee Tires. They could be a good deal but I don't know anything about them. I did find the site.VEE RUBBER|Tire High Performance.

When it comes to things like tyres, I'd only get what has been recommended or that I've read VERY favourable review on

I usually only order tires I know a lot about or have used before. But ironically, on my girls bike I put kenda's on as they are the only brand which came in her size and I love them. I had never heard a thing about them before, or the company even. Never be afraid to try something new!!
they look decent, what experiences has the shop had with them? i would do a LOT of research before trying them, but if the reviews are out there, i would give them a shot... I did with Shinko tires and have been very pleased with price vs performance.

Can't seem to find any reviews, just their main site and a couple retailers... I'm tempted to be a guinea pig for the price.
