I've seen the P1 go for $17 ea if you do enough searching. The P1X is bit more. The new ones have a beveled inlet which helps performance a tad...
Basic idea for fab:
Overall length: 3.00"
Inlet ID: 1.25"
Outlet ID: 1.50"

The rest you can measure with the cap off. Could be SS too and muffler guy could weld them up pretty easy!
