Hey guys, so I installed TB slip ons onto my 2007 FZ6. It came with a rear fender eliminator kit so I decided to strip it away. I wired the license plate light up but my friend accidentally touched the exposed wires (I didn't wrap them and turned the bike on to make sure it was wired correctly first). So that caused the lights in the license plate to just give out and wouldn't restart. I then went on to take care of the turning signals and wired them up. Then I did not have electrical tape so I wrapped the exposed cables with gorilla tape... The front and back turning signals don't work now and neither does the license plate light.
I wanted to know if someone could tell me what went wrong and how I can fix it. I don't know if the circuit was shorted for some reason or not. My bike still starts up fine and my break lights and front lights work fine. Any input help would be great. I'd rather fix it myself especially if it's an easy fix rather than bring it to the bike shop... Thanks!
