turn signal removal

Hey guys-
I just bought my full cowling from Yamaha Canada. I began to do the install to find that 1st order of business is the removal of the turn signals. I don't see any screws and don't want to break one figuring it out. The service manual seems pretty silent on this. Can anyone out there walk me thru it?

the signal has got a kind of rubber boot that goes through the hole... on the other side of the hole is a plastic ring that keeps it in place... you should be able to reach down and pop the plastic thing off fromt he inside... or you can just twist and pull from the outside if you are careful...
