Got the chance to give a Victory a try. First time on one, and a touring model at that. All in all, I really didn't expect too much, but I'll admit that it was a surprisingly good ride. Friggin' thing also has more storage than I've ever seen on a bike.

I just had the chance to ride several demmo models of Victory bikes. The Cross Country was my fav. of the bunch.
The same holds true for the other riders I spoke to.
SOme things I really didn't care for on the bike......you really have to crank this V twin in order to get into the powerband (not true with some other v twins)....paint on the lowers was peeling.....no adj. windscreen.
On the plus the radio and storage were great....so was that seat!!

It sounds like that some of the things that you thought about the bike were things that I discussed in the review. You're right, it is a great bike. Massive amounts of features. It was a joy to review.
