Hi all,

I'm slowly rebuilding my FZ6 to a sleeper and since im getting both new covers i want to go with titanium bolts too. Does anyone have measurements of the needed bolts? I'm not exactly a bolt guy so i have troubles figuring out their size (except length) and the thread width (im guessing 1.25?).
Does anyone have exact measurements?

It is a count of threads per millimeter. Measure 10 millimeters and count how many threads there are. Now divide by 10.

Other options are a thread pitch gauge, a known bolt or nut, a metric thread chase or tap and die set.

Lastly look up the part on a website and maybe it will list it in the description.

Question; why use such an expensive bolt? Ditching the lead battery would be a far better weight savings.

Thanks! Battery is already lithium and the whole weight of the bike is around 170kg currently. Just looking where i can get some more since i'm rebuilding the engine during the winter :)
