Titanium bolts for stator and clutch cover

Hi all,

I'm slowly rebuilding my FZ6 to a sleeper and since im getting both new covers i want to go with titanium bolts too. Does anyone have measurements of the needed bolts? I'm not exactly a bolt guy so i have troubles figuring out their size (except length) and the thread width (im guessing 1.25?).
Does anyone have exact measurements?

got the length of 30mm's (clutch cover), but have no idea what M8/M10 and such mean

*The clutch cover, stator covers are the same thread and diameter. Just different lengths.

M8 or M10 refers to the bolt diameter. Keep in mind, there is also pitch.

Thanks! Length is easy, figuring out the thread width and M8/M10 thing - is not

It is a count of threads per millimeter. Measure 10 millimeters and count how many threads there are. Now divide by 10.

Other options are a thread pitch gauge, a known bolt or nut, a metric thread chase or tap and die set.

Lastly look up the part on a website and maybe it will list it in the description.

Question; why use such an expensive bolt? Ditching the lead battery would be a far better weight savings.

Thanks! Battery is already lithium and the whole weight of the bike is around 170kg currently. Just looking where i can get some more since i'm rebuilding the engine during the winter
