I got one from a mad man in Florida. I don't have the ability to cut it open and pull out the insides but I will drill holes. I'm not sure if I should start of small and do a few holes ad a time or just get the biggest drill bit that will fit through the tail pipe and punch the biggest hole possible. I kinda leaning towards one big hole and leave it at that. I don't know.

Whadda ya think?

search around the threads. this is a never ending debate. drilling out the cat may help some. if you can take it to a muffler shop and have them cut out the 4 inch cat section and weld straight pipe on. that way you don't damage the cat in the event you ever want to put it back on just reverse the process. of course if you find a shop with a mandrel bender even better just get a new pipe fabed up. drilling out the tail pipes may not produce the result you want. check out this link to see what the guts of that thing look like.

big holes i drilled 2 3/4 inch holes i got a cheap drill bit for 15 bucks that was long enough does inprove the idle and low rpm once you get up there the engines takes over i might do the cat and air box mod they say that also helps im still debating im overall happy with what i did plus i saved 600 to 1000 bucks times are tuff id rather save it goodluck

Drilled mine out but only used 1/2 inch bit, not that much difference in idle but havent got to ride it because MY STUPID GARAGE IS STILL BLOCKED WITH TWO FEET OF DUMB ICE!!! Stupid groundhog I'm gonna cap his furry little butt next time I see him...:sinister:
