Thread Locking Liquid

Hello Everyone,
I'm going to be taking a few parts off my bike and putting on a few (including the frame sliders I mentioned).
What thread locking compound does anyone use - or do you use one at all?

I used to get loc-tite, but I'm having a little difficulty locating it at Home Depot, probably need to go to an auto parts store.

Blue - low or medium strength will do - and dont worry about the brand have not found a difference for general applications
