I'm about to upgrade to a FZ1!

I am going to sell the 6 to help pay for the upgrade.

What I want to know is if I should remove some of the aftermarket parts and sell separately?

I have:
Dan Moto Carbon Exhaust (6mths old / 10k klms)
Ohlins spring / Rebuilt rear shock (6 mth / 10k)
PCIII
K&N air filter
Set of stock mirrors (for naked version)
Spare stock exhaust (1x stock, 1x Drilled & 1x de-baffled) Obviously one of these would replace the Dan Moto.

And possible some other misc. parts I can't think of right now.

So do I sell as is, or convert back to stock and sell separately?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers,
Mac.

You will most likely get more $$ by pulling off your mods and selling them separately. I have found that most buyers want to do their own mods to a bike they have purchased.
Good Luck and I can't wait to see your new FZ1! It's a great bike, you're gonna love it!
Oh and I hope you register on our sister site too :Sport:

You would get more money with the motorcycle in her sotck form and sell the extras, usually people won-t pay any of the upgrades.

Now... how does the Dan exhaust fit the motorcycle? Any pics? How much would you be asking for it? ;)

The Dan Moto fits and sounds great...
I'll get some pics this weekend, I leave early and get home after dark so no time to get good pics.

Price? hadn't got that far yet, haven't found a FZ1 to buy yet.

I guess a new system costs $260 US + postage (FZ6 2004-2009 Carbon [EX-00747] - $259.20)
Mine are 6 months old and in good condition - $160 US + postage (remember, I'm in Australia, not sure on postage cost)

Does that sound reasonable?
Let me know if you're interested, I'll hopefully be selling the 6 and buying a 1 in the next couple of months.

Cheers,
Mac.

Thanks for your reply, I have decided I will go stock and sell separately.
Once I find a FZ1 for me I'll strip the 6, clean her up and see what I can get.

I have already started lurking on the FZ1 site :Lurking:

The price seems very reasonable, but I didn't noticed you were from Australia (thought of Newcastle, UK) and that is really a bit expensive.

I did have a quick look at prices online, it could cost as little as $50 US (see attached).
That is with Australia Post, there might be other options?

I'm not in a rush to sell, I still haven't found a FZ1 yet.
I'll keep you informed of my progress and you can have first option if you want.

Cheers,
Mac.
