Snapped this one today. Gotta be a few on the list.

Its a pretty cool story. The town of Barkhampstead had Barkhampstead Village, which was at the bottom of this reservior in the early 1900's. The Army bought all the houses in the village, built this dam, and flooded the village to create the reservior. Apparently they were worried about a shortage of water for nearby Hartford, CT.

Here's a metal dragon giving a flower to a teacher. There are a bunch of metal sculptures in town made by a local artist, it's pretty awesome!
