The kid left for Perth today

My boy Joe left today for a 3 month trip. He's on a big bird over the Pacific right now, fly's in to Sidney and then on to Perth.
Kind of hit me today my son will be on the other side of the planet. He will be 20 next month but I guess that's just the Dad in me a bit worried about him traveling so far.
I know he will have a good time and I'm sure his new Aussie friends will help him adjust plus I did show him how to eat Vegemite according to Ozzieboy so the kid is all set.
Here's a pic of us from a dirt bike ride this summer. Never know, if your in Perth you may just see him on his skateboard - yeah he packed it along. Give him a shout if you see him.

Don't know yet as he has to get a sim card for his phone. We do know through our other son's Face Book he staying at a house with a few other guys in town. Dang kid won't put his parents on his face book I guess there's somethings a parent doesn't want to know.
I'm sure we will hear from him soon but I'll bet he's too busy having a good time, he did say he likes it there.
