Tail light loose?

I was washing my bike yesterday, and noticed that the tail light assembly is quite loose...i.e., it 'flops' up and down. The attaching bolts/rubber washers are as tight as they should be, but I never noticed before how much up-and-down movement the tail light assembly has. Is this normal? Did I disturb/lose something when I installed the FE kit?

loose here as well. i'm considering adding a fatter rubber washer.

No probelm. Its just the way they designed the tail light.

Hobbit is right. This way it is "crack proof" and the light bulb doesn't get burnt as easy.
