T-Rex frame slider quick question...

Guys,

I just bought a set of T-Rex frame silders for my 08 FZ6. I just went out to install them and realized I don't have the allen wrench(es) necessary to remove the stock engine mount bolts and install the T-Rex bolts.

Does anyone know what size wrench I need to (1) remove the stock engine mount bolts and (2) install the T-Rex bolts? I ask because I need to call a friend to bring an allen wrench to work tommorow, so I need to specify the size I'll need.

Tell your friend ...to bring all his metric allen wrenches, it will the one that fits.!

Or ride to the auto parts store, and ask them to let you walk in and out with wrenches one at a time until you find the size you need........

My allen wrenches are too small. So it's something pretty big. Any idea how large?

Max, it's an 8mm allen or hex wrench that fits the T-Rex-provided bolts.

Hope you never have to test them

I just went out and looked. It's an 8mm allen for the stock and T-rex bolts.

mine have been "tested", moving the bike from my backyard. Only damage done to my bike was a scratch on the grip end cap.
