Swingarm Sticker Not Sticking Help

Hello guys and gals! First time post long time reader! I tried putting a vinyl sticker (letters) on the right side of the swingarm and it does not stick. How did you guys put your sticker on? BTW it is a 2005 Silver with black. Thanks in advance, love this site!!

i always hit stickers with a hair dryer to get the glue nice and gooey, that might help. Cold metal will make the glue hard and not sticky, also wipe down the surface with alcohol to remove any oils or debris on the surface.
