Time to talk summer riding shoes. I'm looking to get something new, what do you all have, like and use?

Never heard of riding shoes. I wear boots. These get me through all 4 seasons just fine:

Ive been needing a pair of riding boots or shoes, short distance I wear my nike airmax's and long distance I wear either my double H's or my combat boots

My only complaint is that one screw in each of the toe sliders fell out while riding, so now they turn sideways if the remaining screw gets loose.

I use them all year around, gore-tex lined so waterproof and breathable as well :thumbup:

These are my babies:

I like them because they've got the air vents for summer, yet are big enough in the right areas (right on top of the foot) that I can throw a small foot warmer right in back of the vent to block the air (and keep my foot warm too!)

Though when my leathers come back I might have to shop around for new boots too!

at highway speeds my non-ventilated all-season boots works fine. but I'm planning to compromise safety a bit and use hiking shoes when driving into cities. at worst it may result in some foot injury, but when the sun is too much I want to be able to make a quick stop and not have this heavy gear.
