Straight pipes?

Alright so after a full day making my FZ into something Evil I succeeded in removing the exhaust and welding up some straight pipes after the Cat. I drove it home at 2:30am and thought I was going to get a noise violation ticket. I'll get a movie tomorrow, but I think I'm going to be ordering a new exhaust. Any ideas.? Something that will be heard but not illegal, ohhhh and cheap I love cheap!

LOL! How funny, i bet it was fun! But also sorta nerve wracking!!! Just knowing that you were a sitting duck if a cop drove past!

I couldn't resist starting my SV1000 with the pipes off when I was installing my Microns. It soundes like 20 Harleys at full song. The garage just shook. I can't imagine having ridden it like that though! You could feel it in your heart

I once ran my old KZ1000P with no pipes. Sounded like an enormous weed wacker.
