Alexander Keiths just came out with a stout.

I love stout but here NS there is only a few available. Guinness (Ireland), Garrison (NS Canada) and Keith's (NS Canada)
Other than guinness I have had the Keith's stout and it is good but a lot lighter than Guinness. I have yet to have the garrison but have heard it is quite good.
Another one from Ireland that I love is Killkenny. But I think they call this one a Red rather than a Stout.
But since you are a beer drinker let me tell you about Halifax's little secret. It is called Propeller Breweries and they make some of the best beer I have ever tasted. Truly a fine craft. They make a honey wheat that it is my personal favorite and an IPA that is excellent. If you can get this stuff where you are I suggest you try it.

Oh my god I forgot about that one. My wife bought some for me for christmas last year and then I had to have more. It is really good. Expensive though.

While not a stout I really like Boddington's too. Very creamy!

I agree, Youngs is excellent. You should be able to get Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout as well. If you like the dark beers, don't skip over the Porters, many have alot of roastiness as well. I love Coffee Porters and if you can get any smoked porters, try one, they can be delicious.
