just so you kno its possible i can roll stoppies well over 100 feet on my fz6 with stock susp (soon to be r6 front end with r1 rear shock)

Stoppies are what happened to my stock front end. Well, just one. :D

I would think that they'd be easier with abs... the whole goal of abs is to supply max braking power without locking up the tire... Prolly wrong, but seems to make sense to me.

I read anywhere that the FZ6 ABS starts to work early. So maybe they prevent stoppies by go active. So I just wonder if someone with a ABS FZ6 has done stoppies or not.

I've done a couple unintentionally. 100-0mph in agggggggggghhhhhhhhhh:eek::eek::eek:

In fact I did one yesterday. Took the fazer out after riding the (28 year old) Honda 250 for a week or so. In hindsight I'd have said the brakes on the fazer are about 300% better

I did a stoppie with a fz6n 78bhp with ABS on my exams :D
all good tho, it was a controlled stop at the emergency brake trial.
just don't force it, slowly squeeze it in, moving your bodyweight forward as you stop. (don't get up from the seat, just slightly lean in)
