Wow. This hits too close to home, guys. My exgf got a very nice '04 (I think it was) VW Jetta when she graduated HS from her parents. It was the turbo, sports package, sunroof, monsoon sound system with 6 CD changer, the whole 9 yards and then some. An awesome little car to say the least. She had the balls to complain since it didn't have seat warmers or fog lights. WTF!!

False entitlement is such a PITA.

Kids are so spoilt and lucky in this country. Like the other post's mentioned a trip to reality wouldn't be a bad idea at all for this brat!!!

Let me think about this for a second: She was upset because the car wasn't delivered at the proper time, right? It wasn't the car she wanted, right?

She said out loud, "I didn't want it today and it's not even the car I wanted."

If you think about it, she's being rational.

I've raised three kids - the youngest will be 18 next week and though she has been lots of trouble even SHE would be been thrilled with a car - ANY CAR! If the little snot doesn't want the car, I'll take it and be very grateful! If she was my kid she would have been walking home- and I would have slapped her for that language. I see lots of problems in that family's future.

Un-f&$#n-believable. And unfortunately she is an extreme example of what I see all too often these days. People (young and old) have no clue how good we have it here or how shallow all this craving for material stuff is. I’m really sick of it.

Know what's going to correct our moral dilemma?
If our country's fiscal crisis evolves into a full depression people will be happy to just get food on the table. They won’t be worrying about what day they get their car on or all the other stupid BS.

I’m in no way saying I hope a depression happens. I’m just noting that suffering and hard times builds character.

I could go on but I need to get to work.
