Thats just the way people ride over here in teh Middle East. they are not worried about death for if they die "it was ment to be." I have seen even worse things with bikes over here. Just a few weeks ago, there was three guys on a bike going 80 mph on the "highway" over here in Iraq diving inbetween the convoy of semi-trucks. One truck slowed down, he went to go around, not realizing that there was a concrete barrier in the road blocking a hole in the road from a previous IED detonation. Yea... that was a pretty sight...
