I've been thinking on putting a lager arm lever on the cluth (on the crankcase)... my hand gets tired after a while, so...
I'll just try to give it 1 inch more... I'll just trial and error...
If some one has donde this before.. let me know safe me some time...

I'll post results...

Haven't done this, but I have been considering it. I'm not sure if I would make the arm longer, or buy a less stiff spring.

I too am interested to hear if anyone has done this mod.

Before you do any modding, have you made sure your cable is lubed? That might loosen it up enough for you.

I just adjusted the lever throw using the dial on the lever. I made it so it is just disengages the clutch then adjusted it an extra 1/2 turn to prevent slight disengagement.. now the lever is just and inch inch 1/4 from the grip and much quicker and less strenuous throw and fatigue for my short fingers. No problem since the year I have done this.

^^^ I love that avatar

A guy named killernoodle did just what you're describing a few years ago on the SBN FZ6 board (FZ6 - Sportbikes.net) and was selling them. I just missed getting the last one! But he details how he did it if you want to search for the threads.

I have one and still use it. It widens the friction zone a bit.

Cable is cleaned and lube (works like new)......

Since I got a new cluth arm, from another bike, i just attached a piece in which I drilled different holes to put the piece that holds the cable.... the best, from trial and error, is something 4 cm larger than stock.... that is the softest it could get.....
My girlfriend was the one helping me....
She was not able to clutch with the stock arm....
now she can at least pull the lever with left hand.

I still cannot cluth with one finger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to do second gear wheelies.....

this is a good mod though, i'll leave it.
I'll start working on my left hand point finger untill I make it!

I just don't understand why clever YAMAHA engineers coudn't do this before.......

but again, if bike was perfect, there was nothing for us left to do....
