Does anyone have any experience of this sort of thing?

T351 - Case holder for soft luggage

When i went on my last bike trip i only had a topbox and my mates all used soft panniers, but the problem was that they sunk really badly and sagged under the rear seat and it didnt look pretty (and kinda dodgy)

Im assuming that these racks would stop that happening? I cant justify buying hard panniers for 3 times the price for the amount that i will use it. Would prefer soft luggage and a sat nav.

On another note, anyone have any good recommendations for decent size soft panniers? The bigger the better (within reason) the standard 48L ones seem too small for 2 up touring

Cheers, Dave

Can't wait to read the responses as I'd love to know what paniers people are using too... I need to invest in a set in the near future :)

I too would be interested in knowing if other people use a similar system. I'll be borrowing a set of soft luggage from a friend when I come across to the UK in October (I don't do enough tours to justify buying my own set, and for the short breaks my tank bag and top box is enough).

I was wondering if you could make your own set, by bending water pipes to the right shape and painting them, as I don't think they have to be that strong, just an idea?

I actually have this set up on my bike. I only have the 2 side carriers that I remove from time to time but it's nice to have the top loading option. They definately look sweet. Hope this helps.
