Sold my beloved Fizzie just now

Very sad to let her go, BUT.. it went to a really good guy (who happens to be a forum member too )

Another good part was that I got to take the bike out for one last ride.. rode it to new owner's house. It was just easier for me to ride it to his house and have him drive me back. Alternative would have been for him to go to DMV and get the bike registered.. then have someone drop him off at my house so he could put his tag on and ride it away.

I hope the bike brings him as much joy as it had brought me.
Maybe we'll see him on a group ride next year

When I eventually get an FZ1 or FJR (or something else) I'll have the same feelings for this place most people do. The absolute friendliest and helpful group on the planet.

thanks for the intro, eric. i'm happy to say that i'm the new owner of eric's baby. i just got the new tags and am super excited to get some miles under my belt. i'm looking forward to learning lots about the bike from this great forum. hoping there are lots more warm days before the snow hits...

Congrats on the bike! I've ridden with Eric a few times (1600 miles-ish in round trips) and can attest to what a great bike you've acquired.
