setup for pillion passenger

Hi all, dont know if this has been asked but coundn't find it in a search.
What settings do people set the rear shock to E.g. number 5/6/7

Depends on the weight you are carrying.

I ride with mine at 7 all the time. But I normally ride hard. If you put it at 7 your cant really go wrong.

You have to include luggage etc in factoring as well, start at 5-6 see how it rides, it's a simple adjustment you can make on the fly!!

I would recommend going to 7. I'm a fat barsteward and keep mine there all the time, but I weigh 100kg without gear and my wife is another 60kg. Frankly I'd prefer a stiffer spring since she rides with me a bit. I reckon that will be the next real mod.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I weigh 72kg and run it at 2 for solo riding. With the wife (she weighs 52kg) I run it at 4 and find it to be just right.
