Hi,

Will a seat from a ´06 FZ6 Fazer fit straight onto my ´04 model FZ6 Fazer?

Yeah it should fit just fine.

The '09 model comes standard with the 'comfort' seat.... that will mount right up, as well.

Actually, it does not. Many sites reported that the '09s came with the comfort seat but it was not to be.

Tim is correct. Yamaha did a bad thing and pictured the bike with one installed as their '09 model pic when, in fact, it comes with the standard seat. There may be a couple European countries where it comes stock but definitely not the US or Canada.

The good news is, '04 through '09 seats are all interchangable.

Yeah it should fit just fine.

I bought mercm3s seat from an 04 and it fits fine on my 08.

Does anyone have a part number for the comfort seat? It doesn't seem to be in the UK Accessories list.
