Bit of a problem you might be able to help me with.
My dealer has recently fitted me a Scottoiler but I'm not getting any oil flow onto my rear sprocket and chain. On further inspection:
- the oil reservoir and tubing setup looks fine
- but the dealer has inserted a 6cm long piece of bendy wire inside the end of the dispenser tube. I guess to make it easier to bend and hold the end of the dispenser assembly in place against the rear sprocket. Good idea, except the diameter of the wire is almost as big as the inside of the tube, hence no oil flow
- so, if I do the obvious thing and remove the wire from inside the tube to allow the oil to flow more easily, how can I make sure the dispenser tube remains in place against the rear sprocket?
Any advice esp with photos much appreciated.
