i was practicing my launches for when i go down to the dragstrip, and i ended up doing 2 things i really didn't want to do. i ended up doing a bit of a burnout and a pretty big wheelie. needless to say, i scared the crap out of myself. i was fluttering the throttle around 7-8k, and trying to let the clutch out slowly. i think i dumped the clutch on accident :(
it was an interesting experience overall. just thought i'd share. anyone else have any similar experiences?

I am SO glad that the only thing that got messed up was your underwear!! :D I am a very new rider, and did a test the track class to learn leaning/cornering, and the second to last lap of the second run, I drug my toe and my foot peg. I had NO idea I was that far over, and it totally scared the crap out of me. I did not overreact, which I am very glad of, but I went much slower around the track the rest of the time I was out there, and my pulse was still racing for a while afterwards.
I am glad that you didn't flip it over on top of yourself, or drop your bike.
Have fun, but be safe when you do your drag strip day!
