Saying Goodbye...

I put a deposit on a 2013 FZ1n yesterday :thumbup:

Will take delivery early next week.

Time to tidy up the 6 and get ready to sell, going to be a sad day.
I've had her for 5 years and 110,000 k's (68,350 miles) and loved every minute.

I only have one pic of the new ride for now, more to come.


Thanks to everyone on the forum, your help, information and friendly attitude have been greatly appreciated over the last 5 years.

I will continue to lurk here on the 6 forum.

So I've had the 1 for two days now, unfortunately I've been working alot so only the commute to and from so far.
The extra torque is amazing, no more kicking down two gears to get up and go...

Also going from a 2004 with 113,000k's to 2013 with 5,700k's has been a big difference, everything feels so tight and precise.

I did almost have a moment of shame, when I first got her home I nearly dumped it doing a u-turn in the backyard
Steering lock isn't as tight as the 6, when I realised I wasn't going to make it around in one go I grabbed a little too much front brake...

All good though, just a heart attack and change of pants!

Can't wait for the weekend so I can get out of town and really open it up :thumbup:

Nice new bike! I have two Triumphs now and I still mostly hang out on this forum. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend still connecting with this forum even though you've changed bikes.
