Rim tape on a blue bike

Has anybody have any opinions about putting red rim tape on a blue bike?
My fellow riding buddies think i'm crazy.

My opinion... go ahead! You can be the Guinie Pig for the group and if it looks cool, you'll get the credit! If not, well it gives us something else to talk about!

Honestly... not real sure how that would look. I'm not sure I'd be crazy about the mismatched colors.

On mine, I didn't want the rim tape to be noticeable during the day, so I went with Black Reflective Tape.

oh, i meant that red tape on a blue bike would be strange, but go for it, if you don't like it the worst think you would have to do it take it back off.

I actually am looking for a pint of factory paint for my bike...I want to color match the paint on the bike on the rims...i got patience and a steady hand...all I need is the paint for my 07 SuperFast Blue FZ...any ideas where to get it?

I have reflective red stripes on my rims and I have only recieved compliments on it. I do have the blue like also. I say go for it of course.

Colorite has the factory colors for most bikes. It's not cheap, though.
